Do We Need Another Youth League In NYC??
Empire State Youth Football & Cheer was started because there is no other league in the City that offers all of the important elements of what certain of us want in a league: Financial and operational transparency, Opportunity for regional and national competition, Diversity of opportunities for girls to compete (cheer, step, dance), and operating philosophy based on collective effort and mutual support among and between organizations. Choice is a good thing, and doesn't necessarily have to represent good versus bad. Either way, I hope all the youth leagues around the City have a happy and safe season

Perform Better
Empire State Youth Football is pleased to introduce our official Performance Coach, Mr. Jeffery Richardson. Jeff is the founder of Life Fitness Today (www.lifefitnesstoday.com), a company that promotes Strength and Conditioning, Fitness, and Nutrition. Jeff has a degree in Physics from Fisk University and has certifications in Personal Training, Kettle Bell Training, Nutrition, and Functional Movement Screening. Jeff played football while at Fisk, and has experience coaching football on the youth and Jr. Pro levels. Jeff’s client list includes senior executives at leading NYC corporations and former professional athletes from the NFL and MLB.
Jeff will be writing a weekly article on a variety of issues surrounding performance improvement, and is available for personal and team consultation in strength, conditioning and nutrition.

Welcome to the Empire State Youth Football and Cheer ("ESYFC") website! ESYFC is the New York City based affiliate of American Youth Football and Cheer, the largest youth football and cheer organization in the world. Founded on the premise that "WE", the member organizations, can and should work together for our mutual benefit, ESYFC is dedicated to integrity, accountability, cooperative effort, highly competent league management, and democratic governance by its member organizations.
We do not seek to be all things to all people. Rather, we strive to provide the best possible service to our member organizations based on a disciplined, ethical and cooperative approach. If you reside in the NYC metro area and are willing to put in the work to achieve better for the youth in our community, we welcome you to join our league or one of our member organizations.
